diginomica.comDisney’s most recent big tech announcement didn’t end well as its much vaunted IP deal with OpenAI for short form content creation collapsed unbidden when the AI firm abruptly dumped its Sora initiative. That deal had been one of the last acts of outgoing CEO Bob Iger. His successor makes no reference to the OpenAI debacle, but does make clear the ongoing importance of tech investment to the Empire of the Mouse. Josh D’Amaro says:
