PS4 Users Need to Upgrade If They Want to Play the Next CoD


Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be the last game in the franchise to support PlayStation 4. Black Ops 7 was launched on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but the next version coming this year, widely reported as the next Modern Warfare title, will not arrive on PS4, as reported by PlayStation LifeStyle.

Treyarch and Activision say they chose to have Black Ops 7 on PS4 and Xbox One because the game uses technology that can run on these older systems without making compromises on new systems, even as the studio focuses on higher‑end experiences on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
