Google Cloud growth rates surge, twice the rate of AWS and now topping $20 billion a quarter

Google Cloud is turning in the fastest growing rates of all Alphabet divisions, growing 63% year-on-year to hit $20 billion in the latest quarterly numbers released this week, the first time it’s topped that level. AWS meanwhile has seen its growth rate hit its fastest level in 15 quarters at 28%, hitting $37.58 billion. Meanwhile at Microsoft, revenue at the Azure cloud-computing unit jumped 40%, with Intelligent Cloud business accounting for $34.7 billion in revenue.
