Zafran Security Raises $60 Million in Series C Funding


Cybersecurity startup Zafran Security on Tuesday announced raising $60 million in a Series C funding round that brings the total raised by the company to $130 million.

Founded in 2022, New York City-based Zafran takes an agentless, API-based approach to identify and remediate cyber threats.

The company’s AI-native exposure management platform was designed to proactively prevent vulnerability exploitation, by integrating autonomous agents throughout the entire vulnerability management lifecycle.

As threat actors weaponize newly disclosed security defects faster, automating the process through AI, Zafran’s platform helps organizations act before exposures can lead to an incident.

The company’s products integrate with existing security tools and rely on AI agents to identify, add context to, and address weaknesses by mapping them to controls and assessing the exploitability of an exposure.
