When you take a screenshot on your iPhone or iPad, a small thumbnail appears in the bottom corner. Tap it, and you can edit, crop, or share the screenshot before saving. In iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, that process has a whole new look with additional tools.

Now, when you tap a thumbnail, you'll enter a full-screen preview mode -- complete with markup tools, crop and scale options, a sharing shortcut, and Apple's new Visual Intelligence features.
