You'll Soon Be Able to Curtail AI Slop on TikTok With a New AI Slider

TikTok viewers who are getting overwhelmed by AI slop, or who just want less AI-generated content in their feed in general, may soon have a tool to see less of both.

The social media company said in a blog post that in the coming weeks, it's testing out a new slider tool under its Manage Topics settings that would let people determine how much AI-generated they want. "This means that people who love AI-generated history content can see more of this content, while those who'd rather see less can choose to dial things down," TikTok said in the post.
