Why BILL and Oracle NetSuite are using agentic AI to get even closer

I got a chance to spend a few minutes with BILL’s CEO, René Lacerte, at the recent Oracle NetSuite SuiteWorld event in Las Vegas. I’ve covered BILL a few times over the last 5-6 years and have written on the payments space generally for over a decade. My firm has also been paid, many times, by firms that use the BILL service.

Many Finance and ERP vendors have pursued relationships with vendors like BILL in recent years. Why? These tools can help businesses reign in excessive bank fees, reduce fraud and, in some situations, get payments to recipients faster. There can be many other benefits, too.

BILL has had a partnership with Oracle NetSuite for several years. They were at this show to highlight their new, deeper relationship with Oracle NetSuite.
