StrongDM Acquisition Expands Delinea’s Cloud PAM Scope

Delinea plans to purchase an access management vendor led by Palo Alto Networks' former chief cloud officer to address workloads in Kubernetes and SaaS environments.

The San Francisco-based company said Silicon Valley-based StrongDM's developer-friendly privilege management and use of ephemeral credentialing will help Delinea deal with the rise of agentic artificial intelligence workloads, according to CEO Art Gilliland. He said StrongDM's focus on automation, just-in-time access and tight developer integration complements Delinea's strength with traditional IT and security teams.
