Shark has come up with an innovative way of showing customers exactly how well its new robot vacuum cleaner is working. The newly announced PowerDetect UV Reveal is fitted with an ultraviolet light, which works alongside an RGB camera to spot and highlight invisible messes, before cleaning them away.
Shark says the idea is to provide "insight into what is happening at every step of the cleaning process". There are lights that indicate the robot is seeking a stain, then the UV will kick in to illuminate the mess.
