Today, Google Cloud is addressing that challenge by launching our new cloud region in Bangkok — a key milestone in our USD $1 billion investment in Thailand’s digital infrastructure. This launch serves as a powerful economic engine for the nation. Over the next five years, the Bangkok region is projected to contribute THB 1.4 trillion (US$41 billion) in economic value to Thailand and support an average of 130,000 jobs per year.
