Samsung Opens One UI 8.5 Beta Program to Galaxy S24 Series Users

Samsung has opened the One UI 8.5 beta program to Galaxy S24 series users in the US, UK, India, and Korea. Based on Android 16 QPR2, this next major software version is now rolling out to the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra ahead of a stable release.

One UI 8.5 incorporates many of the changes that first appeared on Samsung's newest flagships. It integrates Galaxy AI tools, such as smoother photo editing workflows and quicker access to AI options, and adds a new direct voicemail function that lets callers record a message on-device with live transcription.
