Pixel Phones Now Work as Webcams for Nintendo Switch 2 GameChat

But because the console lacks a built-in camera, it needs external hardware to show video. While Nintendo claims the console works with most USB webcams, early testing showed compatibility issues with Google Pixel phones.
Unlike many other Android devices, the Google Pixel can act as a USB webcam natively. Users can plug the phone directly into a device to use its camera without third-party apps. Initially, quite a few users found that enabling this mode caused the console to drop the connection, Android Authority reports.
