This Thursday, Opera made Opera Neon, its experimental AI browser, available to the general public. Anyone can now subscribe for $19.90 per month without waiting on a list.

Opera Neon is an agentic browser that purports to go beyond traditional web browsing. Instead of simply displaying web pages, it uses AI agents to perform tasks and even code web apps. The browser lets users access the newest top-tier AI models, like Gemini 3 Pro, GPT-5.1, Veo 3.1, and Nano Banana Pro. Moreover, Opera's LLM-agnostic AI engine combines these models into a single workspace, which could be convenient for avid users of all of the above.
