OnePlus 16's Minimalist Bezels Could Raise the Bar for Rivals

A new leak suggests that the next OnePlus flagship, the OnePlus 16, will feature bezels below the 1mm mark. If the leak is accurate, this would be the first time a mainstream device has incorporated such a low-profile bezel, marking a new chapter in smartphone aesthetics.

The OnePlus 15 already has fairly impressive 1.15mm symmetrical bezels and a slab-style 165Hz AMOLED panel. The new model, meanwhile, will likely involve a similar form factor, but with even less bezel to distract from the actual display.

Leaker Old Chen Air shared on Weibo over the weekend that the OnePlus 16 will feature a high-refresh AMOLED display that may reach 240Hz, a large 9,000mAh "Glacier Battery," and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip. Rumors also suggest the phone will have a 200MP main camera with Hasselblad tuning, which is absent in the OnePlus 15.
