Nvidia Develops Location Tech for Blackwell Chips
extremetech.comAlthough the Trump administration plans to allow Nvidia to sell its powerful H200 AI GPUs to China, chip smuggling remains a major problem. And as it turns out, Nvidia has been working on a technology that could help combat that problem. Reuters, which broke the story, notes that the tech would allow a customer to see which country the chip is in, making it harder for companies to operate banned chips undetected.
