Nintendo Announces First Pastel Joy-Con 2 Colors for Switch 2

Nintendo has announced its first color variant of the Joy-Con 2 controllers for the Switch 2. The new Joy-Cons come in a light purple and light green pair and will launch on Feb. 12 alongside Mario Tennis Fever.

The light purple controller is for the left hand, while the light green one sits on the right. The design features colorful rings around the thumbsticks and matching accents along the inner edges, all set against a mostly dark shell and color-coordinated wrist straps. Each pair will cost $99.99 in the US, with preorders already underway.

It's worth noting that there is no hardware difference between the launch Joy-Cons 2 and this new iteration; the only difference is aesthetic. Joy-Con 2 controllers offer motion controls, HD Rumble 2, the C button for GameChat, and mouse‑style controls in supported games. Nintendo lists them as Switch 2‑only accessories.
