New Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro Price Hints at Laptop Price Hikes

The ongoing RAM shortage has been threatening to push PC prices into the stratosphere, and we've seen evidence of price hikes already. Samsung's Galaxy Book 6 Pro, which features an Intel Panther Lake processor (and isn't yet available), is the latest signal that PC prices are on the rise. Although you'd expect the laptop to have a slightly higher price tag than the same model from the previous generation, Samsung's website shows a bump of about $477, which seems steep, especially since the amount of RAM and storage doesn't budge from one generation to the next.
