The decision by the European Commission (EC) to slap a €120 million fine on X for not complying with the law set down in the European Union Digital Services Act (DSA) was always going to result in a grade A hissy fit from Elon Musk - and that’s how it’s turned out, along with the inevitable chorus of MAGA supporters gleefully joining in with a happy chorus of bashing the Europeans.

But frankly it’s all turned highly dangerous now, with Musk openly attempting to interfere in the internal affairs of Europe, calling for the destruction of the EU itself, saying that it “should be abolished and sovereignty returned to individual countries”.
