Microsoft to Build Copilot Into Microsoft 365 Subscriptions

Microsoft is preparing to make Copilot a default part of all Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Beginning this fall, the Copilot app will automatically install on Windows devices with Microsoft 365 desktop apps.
The chatbot's broader integration is meant to give customers a single access point to Copilot tools within Microsoft 365. These include search options, chat functions, and agent-driven AIs that make the suite easier to use. Copilot will be available on multiple platforms, including a web app, desktop apps for Windows and Mac, and mobile apps for Android and iOS. With this change, Copilot will become part of the standard Microsoft 365 experience unless users (or admins) actively choose to disable it.
