Microsoft Is Bringing a Handy Windows 10 Calendar Feature to Windows 11

In another effort to expand AI's influence on Windows 11, Microsoft has announced new tools that integrate Copilot directly into the operating system. The most notable change comes with the return of calendar appointments to the Notification Center—something Windows 10 users may remember from that operating system's calendar interface. The Agenda view, arriving in preview builds next month, will display a chronological list of upcoming events in one unified space. Users can interact directly with events by joining scheduled meetings or engaging with Microsoft 365 Copilot to prepare for the day ahead.

Voice capabilities are getting an upgrade as well. The "Hey Copilot" voice hotword and Win+C shortcut let users access Copilot through natural, back-and-forth conversations. On the taskbar, new agent monitors will show long-running AI tasks with their current progress and status.
