Microsoft and CrowdStrike expand alliance, bringing Falcon platform to Microsoft marketplace

Microsoft and CrowdStrike have expanded their strategic alliance to make the CrowdStrike Falcon platform available through Microsoft Marketplace, enabling organisations to procure the cybersecurity solution using existing Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment funds.

The move is aimed at simplifying enterprise procurement and accelerating deployment of AI-native security capabilities across endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, AI and data environments. By integrating Falcon into the Marketplace ecosystem, customers can consolidate purchasing and billing processes while aligning cybersecurity investments with existing cloud spending commitments.

According to the companies, the expanded offering allows organisations to accelerate time-to-protection through simplified procurement workflows, optimise cloud budgets by applying Falcon purchases toward Azure commitments, and reduce operational complexity through unified billing.
