M6 MacBook Pro to Feature Touch Screen, Dynamic Island: Rumor
extremetech.comApple's M6 MacBook Pro is going to share not one, but two properties with the iPhone. Not only will it have a touch screen, but it is also expected to feature a Dynamic Island, just like iPhones have since the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.
This will come with a redesigned macOS interface that can adapt to both touch and traditional input. The new laptops are expected to arrive in late 2026 in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, with OLED displays instead of the current mini-LED panels, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports.
Sources say the notch will give way to a pill-shaped cutout that hosts the camera, with a Dynamic Island UI around it.
