The Boox Note Air5 C might look like its predecessors, but its updated Android 15-based software and better CPU make it an excellent upgrade. Needless to say, it’s a fantastic epaper tablet in its own right with a newly designed stylus that makes the writing experience one of the best I’ve had. However, it has some design quirks that are annoying and it’s a heavy tablet. It also doesn't feel 'new' compared to other Boox options still available. If a color epaper display isn't important, I'd pick the lighter Boox Go series over this one any day.
