Is consumer love of gen AI now tempered by privacy concerns? Capgemini research suggests so


Black Friday and Cyber Monday are behind us for another year and so the time is auspicious to launch research into consumer habits when it comes to AI usage. Capgemini has published a report “From hype to habit: How consumers are embracing AI,” based on a survey of 10,000 consumers from 18 to 80 years old, picked from 13 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. It finds that AI is already part of consumers’ lives and that over the past two years consumer attitudes have evolved considerably with privacy and security concerns rising alongside adoption.
