Intel Teases Panther Lake Launch As 18A Chip Yield Update Shows Strength
hothardware.comIntel's next truly interesting processor release—sorry, Arrow Lake Refresh—is going to be the launch of its Panther Lake mobile processors. As it turns out, we now know exactly when that's happening: not Q4 '25 as rumored, but indeed Q1 '26, at the Consumer Electronics Show in lovely Las Vegas. We know that because Intel itself said so. In a blog post about CES 2026, the company explicitly says "Join us ... for CES and experience the global launch of the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Processors, Codenamed Panther Lake." This timing certainly isn't a surprise, but it's nice to have official confirmation.
This announcement comes just one day after Intel's John Pitzer, VP of Corporate Planning & Investor Relations, spoke to the RBC Capital Markets Global TIMT Conference about Intel's position in the market, where he stated:
