I wore this rugged Suunto smartwatch for months, and I reckon Garmin's got competition in the outdoor superwatch arena

Outdoors-y types tend to stress about battery life when deciding on a smartwatch, and any mention of an electron-sapping AMOLED display tends to bring with it a sharp intake of breath. However, Suunto’s latest Vertical 2 proves that you can have ultra-crisp visuals and a monster battery life. Granted, this Vertical 2 is very similar to the Race 2, but it’s the one to get if you like premium materials, a more rugged build quality and a built-in flashlight.
