How Vets Who Code helps 300+ military veterans transition to tech careers with 97% job placement success

An Atlanta-based online IT training academy run by an ex-Air Force veteran who only recruits fellow veterans? Sounds like a coding bootcamp, right?

Well, yes and no. But whatever you do, don't call it that—or Executive Director Jerome Hardaway might get his toughest 'trooper,' Erin the cookie-maker, on your case. And if she frightens the alpha males Hardaway helps train and find employment as programmers, she'll be way more than you can handle.

Since launching in 2014, Hardaway's non-profit has achieved remarkable results. Vets Who Code has helped more than 300 graduates earn over $20 million in combined salaries, with a 97% job placement rate.

One of those graduates is Brad Hankey, a fellow ex-US Air Force (USAF) veteran. He says Vets Who Code gave him the flexible digital nomad career he needs while his wife continues to be deployed.
