Google Photos Is Coming to Samsung Smart TVs

Samsung announced Monday that it plans to add Google Photos to its smart TVs in the new year.

The rollout will occur via three phases, with Samsung TVs receiving the Memories function—which displays curated stories based on people, locations, and moments—in early 2026. After six months of exclusivity, Memories will be available on other brands' smart TVs, with Samsung units adding Nano Banana templates powered by Google DeepMind's image generation and editing model. Finally, Personalized Results will arrive later in 2026, allowing users to view related photos as a slideshow based on miscellaneous topics.

Samsung says users can sign in with their Google Account to sync their photo libraries. The photos will work with Samsung's Vision AI Companion and appear through Daily+ and Daily Board.
