Google NotebookLM Lets You Listen to Customized AI Podcasts in 76 Languages

Google has announced that its AI-based note-taking and research assistant, NotebookLM, is adding Audio Overviews in 76 new languages. Audio Overviews allow users to generate a podcast with AI virtual hosts based on uploaded documents, such as course readings or legal briefs, as reported by TechCrunch.

The idea is to give users another way to understand and digest the information in their documents, and with this expansion, more people can use Audio Overviews in their preferred language.

Previously, Audio Overviews were generated only in the language set as the user's account preference. Now, Google is bringing a new "Output Language" option that lets users choose the language in which their Audio Overviews are created. Google says users can change this language at any time.
