Google Lets Pixel Users Pick Who Can Reach Them Even in Silent Mode


What a day it is turning out to be for Pixel users. Android 16 is coming out today, and Google is also bringing a new addition to it—Pixel VIPs, which lets users manage how key contacts can reach them even when their phone is in Do Not Disturb (DND) mode. The change means that Pixel users can now set certain people, like, let's say, family or important work contacts, as VIPs, and these contacts will be able to bypass DND restrictions. So basically, no one can disturb you in your sleep other than the VIPs in your life.
