European nations face increasing risk from rapidly evolving threats, especially within interconnected supply chains. The region still lags behind in ensuring overall resilience against these threats, said Hans de Vries, chief cybersecurity and operations officer at ENISA, the EU agency for cybersecurity. Europe urgently needs to address these weaknesses to achieve more robust resilience and prevent systemic crises triggered by supply chain breaches.
