theregister.co.ukSAP has apologized for the recent outage of its SAP for Me portal, a cloud-based tool that gives users a view of their SAP functions, metrics, and service. But the downtime has opened up some reliability questions.
The ERP giant's status page for the service shows three outages in the last 90 days, including one incident that lasted nearly 11 hours. Critics view the performance as evidence that the vendor is not ready to provide the cloud-only services it so keenly promotes.
An SAP spokesperson said: "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the recent degradation of the SAP for Me portal. Our technical teams have successfully resolved the issue and restored full functionality. The identified solution is currently undergoing close monitoring to ensure its effectiveness and stability. We remain in continuous contact with our customers and are committed to providing timely updates throughout this process."
