Confluent Q3 2025 earnings show momentum ahead of Current

Confluent has delivered solid third quarter results for 2025, with subscription revenue growth of 19% and non-GAAP operating margin expanding to approximately 10%, while demonstrating signs that the "optimization cycle" Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jay Kreps discussed during Q2 may be stabilizing.

The data streaming vendor posted subscription revenue of $286 million for Q3, up 19% year-over-year, while Confluent Cloud revenue grew 24% to $161 million. The company beat analyst expectations across all metrics, with total revenue of $298.52 million beating estimates by $5.63 million.

The results arrive on the eve of Current, Confluent's annual data streaming conference in New Orleans, where the company is expected to unveil new capabilities designed to strengthen its positioning as essential infrastructure for enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
