Cinebench 2026 Introduces New Redshift Benchmarks
extremetech.comOn Monday, Maxon announced Cinebench 2026, the latest version of its benchmarking software for testing CPU and GPU performance using real-world 3D rendering workloads based on the Redshift engine.
Cinebench 2026 now supports Nvidia's new Blackwell-based RTX 5000 series cards and AMD's Radeon 9000 series on Windows, as well as Nvidia Hopper and Blackwell data center GPUs. Maxon has also added support for Apple's M4 and M5 chips. As of now, Intel GPUs do not receive dedicated support because Redshift currently targets CUDA, HIP, and Metal backends.
Cinebench 2026 uses the latest Redshift rendering engine, which introduces a heavier, more complex workload than previous versions and is well-suited to Cinema 4D 2026. The company says users can more accurately predict how their hardware will behave in Cinema 4D 2026 based on Cinebench results, since both use the same rendering tech. Maxon also adds a new test that ...
