Amazon Bedrock AgentCore episodic memory addresses this limitation by capturing and surfacing experience-level knowledge for AI agents. Although semantic memory helps an agent remember what it knows, episodic memory documents how it arrived there: the goal, reasoning steps, actions, outcomes, and reflections. By converting each interaction into a structured episode, you can enable agents to recall knowledge and interpret and apply prior reasoning. This helps agents adapt across sessions, avoid repeating mistakes, and evolve their planning over time.
