Breaking Security Data Silos Before AI Threats Strike

Legacy data collection systems are creating dangerous blind spots in security operations at a time when adversaries are using artificial intelligence to automate attacks at unprecedented speed and scale. "If you're not collecting the data, then you're probably not being able to act on all the data. And a lot of these legacy systems are difficult to configure, manage and update," said Kam Amir, director of technology alliances at Cribl. Without proper configuration, organizations effectively introduce blind spots into their security apparatus.

The solution, Amir said, begins with a comprehensive telemetry data management strategy that maps existing data sources and establishes repeatable collection processes, and enables detection and analysis before data lands in SIEM or SOAR systems.
