Artificial intelligence has transformed both offense and defense in cybersecurity. In financial services, AI-driven social engineering and deepfake tactics are helping adversaries bypass traditional safeguards and gain insider access.

Ryan Roobian, global security architect at Google Cloud Security, said adversaries are using AI to lower the barrier for complex attacks. This technology allows even low-skilled threat actors to achieve advanced results, making incidents harder to detect and contain.
"The more you're open, transparent and collaborative around that particular incident, the response and recovery of it, the better off you as an organization will be," Roobian said.
