A 3 a.m. login with valid credentials looks suspicious in isolation, but may simply mean an employee is traveling. Without data from HR systems and identity and access management platforms converging in real time, security teams are making decisions in the dark. "You need different tools bringing in the context so that you have a decision that's much more accountable, explainable and context aware," said Sujatha S Iyer, head of AI security at ManageEngine.
