Artificial intelligence tools have collapsed the time and skill required to execute sophisticated cyberattacks. "Statistics say an attack takes less than an hour from initial access to impact, which is amazing," said Chen Burshan, CEO at Skyhawk Security.

Nation-state actors increasingly exploit AI platforms to build advanced attack components. Burshan cited recent trust and safety findings that revealed state-backed operations conducted through Anthropic and OpenAI. "We said that we will see more and more attacks that are carried by generative AI," he said. "At the beginning, it was harder for people to accept it. Now, it's a fact everyone understands that this is what's going on."
