Today, with 11,000 employees across eight countries, the firm is looking to AI to provide internal efficiencies, such as improving automation and increasing speed of servicing the customer. As a company, Admiral is well-positioned to deal with the impact the tech is having on the insurance sector, according to Group CEO Milena Mondini:
If you think about Admiral, from very early stages we've always been a bit of a forefront of disruption and distribution. We were among the first direct players in the market in the UK. We were the first to have an Internet-only brand, Elephant, in the UK. We were the first one to a embed price comparison site with confused.com and so forth.
