A federal court on Tuesday granted preliminary approval of a $5 million settlement in consolidated class action litigation filed against Pennsylvania-based Geisinger Health and Nuance Communications - part of Microsoft - involving a 2023 insider data breach that affected more than 1 million Geisinger patients.
