ZEISS builds Process Intelligence foundation for S/4HANA migration with Celonis

ZEISS Group, the German optical and optoelectronics company founded in 1846, operates across four segments: Industrial Quality & Research, Medical Technology, Consumer Markets, and Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology. With approximately 43,000 employees worldwide and operations in nearly 50 countries, the company generated revenues of €10 billion in its 2022/23 fiscal year. This scale and complexity presented significant challenges when ZEISS began preparing for its S/4HANA migration.

The company turned to Celonis, a process mining and Process Intelligence platform that uses event log data from enterprise systems to create visual representations of how processes actually run. By analyzing this data, organizations can identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and deviations from intended processes.
