Your Steam Games Will Soon Appear in Your Windows 11 PC's Xbox App


As Microsoft works its way to releasing the next generation Xbox (not slated to arrive until 2027), the company is also aiming to make the Xbox platform a one-stop shop for gamers. On Monday, Microsoft announced it is previewing the aggregated gaming library, which lets gamers view and launch their games from multiple platforms in one place.

The feature will appear in the Xbox PC app for Windows 11 PCs, which is in line with Microsoft’s apparent goal to have the next Xbox run a version of Windows. The aggregated game library will show up in the upcoming Microsoft ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X devices, which are handheld gaming systems that run a streamlined version of Windows 11.
