Windows 10 User Sues Microsoft

Windows 10 has been trudging towards its demise for the better part of a year, but some users aren’t ready to see it go — and one is suing. The suit is a last-minute effort to keep Windows 10 support alive, considering that the OS is to expire on October 14. But the stakes are high; without security updates, Windows 10 could become a liability for users who don’t move their systems to a new operating system.

Lawrence Klein, who has two laptops running Windows 10, is the user who filed the suit, according to Forbes. Although Microsoft offers an extension of critical- and security updates to users for $30, the lawsuit appears to contend that Microsoft should provide extended support for free.
