Insider risk is no longer confined to malicious intent. It has evolved to include a spectrum of human and technological behaviors that organizations must manage holistically.

David Pollino, founder of YourSecPro and a CyberEdBoard member, said the solution to managing this evolution lies in implementing a "noisy approach" to security culture. "According to the ACFE, 43% of insiders are detected by tip, whereas only 2% are detected by surveillance," he said. "So, by having an ongoing dialog and conversation, you're increasing your opportunity to find malicious insiders."
