Chinese tech YouTuber Geekerwan's latest video shows just how far you can push AMD's new Threadripper Pro 9995WX, a 96-core, 192-thread Zen 5 workstation chip that costs a staggering ¥100,000 (~$13,800). And when we say "push," we mean hook it up to the radiator from a BMW M4 just to keep it from melting down.

If you're willing to pay for the 2.5× extra power, the 9995WX absolutely dominates in Cinebench.

The stock 9995WX is already a monster, pulling 306W at 3.3–3.5 GHz all-core under Cinebench R23 with a multi-core score of almost 130,000—nearly triple that of the consumer-grade Ryzen 9 9950X. But flip on PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive), and it hits 180,308 points at 4.7 GHz all-core, gulping down 800W in the process.
