Visual Harmony in Generative Design Systems

This article presents a comprehensive user study of TypeDance, a generative AI tool that fuses typefaces with imagery for creative design outputs. Participants—including both designers and general users—praised the tool's ability to produce visually harmonious and diverse results, while also highlighting its customization, control, and integrated workflow. Although limitations like inconsistent styles and trial-and-error mapping exist, TypeDance’s flexibility, usability, and potential for semantic logo design make it a promising addition to the design toolkit.

7.3.1 Satisfaction of Generated Outcome.
