Vectra AI Snaps Up Netography to Fortify Multi-Cloud Muscle

Vectra AI purchased a network security startup led by the former CEO of Sourcefire to better collect and operationalize flow logs from multiple cloud providers.

The San Jose, California-based network detection and response vendor said its acquisition of Annapolis, Maryland-based Netography will enhance visibility in cloud environments where traditional packet capture is difficult by analyzing flow logs across AWS, GCP, Azure and OCI, said Vectra AI President and CEO Hitesh Sheth. The deal will help Vectra AI provide security across on-premises and cloud settings.
