Top-Ranking Smartphone App Pays You to Record Your Calls

The app lets users record and sell the audio of their phone calls to AI companies, which can pay those users as much as $900 each month in return. Neon Mobile sets its earnings rate at 30 cents per minute for calls with other Neon users and up to $30 per day for calls made to non-users through the app. The company also offers additional payments for referrals.
Neon's app began trending this month, moving from No. 476 in the Social Networking category to a top position within just a few days. Users simply make calls via the Neon app, which then records the audio and pays for the minutes spent chatting.
