Adobe says the app is meant for anyone who wants higher-quality photos from their phone, and it comes after years of research into computational photography.

Adobe has brought a new app called Project Indigo to the iPhone. It allows users to take photos with manual controls over focus, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure, and yes, it supports both JPEG and RAW file formats. Indigo, in simple words, combines multiple frames into one image. This technique results in reduced noise and enhanced detail in the final picture.
